Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) invites Non-RIMS graduates of North-Eastern region (except Assam) to fill for the course of MD in psychiatry. They can send the duly filled application form in the prescribed format to the postal address within the stipulated time. A demand draft from any nationalized bank of India drawn in favor of the Director, RIMS, Imphal should be deposited along with the application form. The application form can be obtained from the Academic session, RIMS, Imphal on payment of Rs100/- or can be downloaded from the RIMS Website.

DURATION OF COURSE: 03 Years (02 years for those with recognized 2 years P.G. holders in the same subject).
ELGIBILITY CRITERIA: Candidate must be an Indian holding MBBS degree from north-eastern region of India except Assam from any MCI recognized medical institution except RIMS, Imphal and has obtained permanent registration from MCI or any state medical council. Any candidate, who is completing 12 months compulsory rotatory internship on or before 31/02/2020 and submits a relevant certificate from the concerned Head of Institute can appear in the counseling for admission to MD course.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Based on the marks obtained in the NEET-PG examination and selection will be purely on merit basis.
