The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) was created in 1956,as an autonomous institution through an Act of Parliament, to serve as a nucleus for nurturing excellence in all aspect of health care. There is a news update from AIIMS saying that they have a post vacancy for psychologists. They have announced that applications will be accepted for the post till the 15th of September 2020.
Applications are invited for temporary and contractual basis for this particular post by the department of Neurology. The Salary will be provided as per ICMR rules as mentioned on the notice. The job profile includes evaluating the prevalence and deficits of cognitive processing, in relation to glycaemic control and other metabolic risk factors in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who are at high risk of dementia. There are control groups based on the age and sex, including prospective observational multi centre cohort study.
The post is of a Psychologist, and the age mentioned for the post is 30years. The qualification required for the post is Master’s degree in Psychology with experimental psychology as one of the subject with a diploma in medical psychology (Clinical psychology) from a recognised university or institution or a PhD degree in clinical psychology from a recognised university or institution. There applicants need to send a detailed CV to the office department. Only candidates who will be selected will be called for the interview.
