In this modern world there is no running away from social media. Social media has a role to play in modern day lifestyles of all human beings. One of the concern is anyone can be an expert on anything; whether they actually are is another question. One needs to be careful and seek unpolished and genuine inspiration for whatever information they consume in their daily life.

For centuries the concept of mental health disorder or mental health problems and its connection to crime has held interest in novelist, historians, psychiatrist, psychologist, criminologists and many researchers. In India having a mental health disorder is still perceived with a sense of judgment and there is still a stigma to go to a therapist or a coach for help.

The debate about the relationship between mental health illness and crime will keep going for some time. Where drugs and alcohol are involved, the criminal activity is proven to increase. In spite of these proven research facts the funding for mental health for criminals and otherwise is never given a preference. Because of these cuts, sufferers are at risk of being in situations of difficult and confusing circumstances that lead to violence towards themselves or others of the community.

One needs to remember mental illness is not the cause of violence always. People with mental illness are not violent than their peers are often more likely the victims of violence. Today teens and young adults are making their way in a world much different than of their parents or ancestors experienced.

In present times especially after pandemic we see reaching record level of mental health issues in the youngest generation. Teens are known for enjoying in somewhat reckless behavior and sometimes parents fail to recognize when these behaviors start getting out of control. Teens with anxiety, depression and other disorders face problems in other areas of life due to mental illness.

When mental illness are left untreated, individuals can face a series of destructive behavior patterns. Issues with personal human behavior could be indicative of unresolved issue or post trauma. To help individuals to come out of this habit Clinical Hypnosis is a tool that uses the power of the mind to bring about change. It is characterized as a state of inner absorption and focused attention.

It is frequently used in medicine, dentistry, mental health illness, peak performance and other disciplines. The term hypnosis comes from Hypnos which means “to sleep” and is the name of the Greek god of sleep. The main purpose of using clinical hypnosis session is to enable a person to have increased control over his or her behavior, thoughts, emotions and psychological responses and their physical health.

The brain responds as if the event is actually happening. Many other studies have demonstrated that thoughts will cause physical change in the brain. We change based on what we tell the subconscious mind so that the physical brain reacts accordingly. Hypnosis can be used in treating a person from mental health behavior, their pattern for certain habits leading to crime and substance abuse and much more.

It all depends on the root cause and with any problem root cause is psychological then hypnosis can be used to help the do the treatment required. Provided there is agreement from the subject that they do want to change and heal. This process can help to speed up to convert a criminal to act in a more social acceptable way. However it would make more than hypnosis to change their lifestyle and mindset and this can take some years of treatment with patience, even if we have their agreement to change.

I feel every criminal has a past and to change his view one needs to make him slowly understand what they did was not good for the community. And this is a very slow and patient job. People asking for quick solutions are the wrong people to work out problems criminals have to go through. The primary goal of hypnosis as a compliment to criminal mindset is to help the patient return with a feeling of control and greater understanding of mind connection acceptable to the society without any threats.
