Delhi University which is the central university located in Delhi offers two courses as a part of the Master’s Programme in psychology. These are Master’s in Psychology and Master’s in Applied Psychology, with a total of 169 seats. The academic council of Delhi University has announced that both its Under Graduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) admissions will now take place on the basis of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Earlier, college admissions would take place on the basis of separate exams which used to be known as the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
The decision was taken by the 10-member Academic Council of Delhi University in which they scrapped the DUET PG examinations and now CUET exams will be conducted at both UG and PG levels. The Post Graduate (PG) CUET exam will be starting from the 2023-24 batch onwards. The next CUET 2023, Post Graduate exam which will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) will be held from May 21 to May 31, 2023.
The application form for CUET 2023 begins in April 2023. The examination type is MCQ, and the mode of the examination is computer-based. There are 547 cities in India where the examination will take place whereas there are 13 centers abroad.
The exam will take place in two slots, slot 1 will take place from 9 am to 12 15 pm, and timings for slot 2 is from 3 pm to 6 45 pm.
