The “Jadui Pitara” has been created on the concept of “learning by play,” as envisioned in the new National Education Policy (NEP)., and is intended as a child-centric, innovative, toy-based Learning activities for students ages 3 to 8 that would improve conceptual understanding Jadui Pitara, which includes playbooks, toys, puzzles, posters, flashcards, storybooks, worksheets, and materials that reflect the local culture, social background, and languages, is intended to arouse interest and meet the students at the foundational stage have a variety of needs.
The pitara, which was created under the National Curriculum Framework (NCF), is accessible in 13 Indian languages, according to Union Education Minister. The NCERT has created a trainers’ handbook that maps the curriculum objectives for upcoming teacher training programs at the foundational stage.
The National Steering Committee was established by the Department of School Education and Literacy under the Ministry of Education to create the NCF for each grade.
The Ministry of Education launched the NCF for the foundational stage (FS) last year, and following the curriculum framework, the NCERT has created and gathered the learning-teaching material (LTM). In light of this, the LTM for the foundational stage was introduced on Monday using the “Jaadui Pitara” concept.
Physical development, socio-emotional, ethical development, cognitive development, language and literacy development, and aesthetic and cultural development are the five domains that the “Jaadui Pitara” suggests students learn about and develop in.
