Some Bollywood Film Stories Based on Mental Health

October 10th, it’s a day to spread awareness of mental health issues and problems and make efforts to give and get support for mental health. It’s also known as World Mental Health Day. It is possible that our efforts to protect and advance mental health in the COVID-19 pandemic have resulted in a mental health crisis, with full short and long-term stress and a more than 25% increase in both anxiety and depression disorders during the first year of the pandemic, while service supply was far below or low in middle-income countries.

This year, WHO, making mental health and well-being a global priority, is a topic of the campaign and a slogan also launched by WHO in collaboration.

To spread awareness and knowledge, social media and cinema are the best options or choices. There are some films or cinemas which narrate stories of mental health issues, problems facing people with mental illness, and so on. Actresses ranging from Alia Bhatt to Ranbir Kapoor have all played a role in moving people’s hearts with such a sensitive subject as mental health.
