RINPAS M.Phil Clinical Psychology Paper Leak: Committee established by VC

On 23rd June 2024, the entrance exam for the MPhil Clinical Psychology exam was conducted in RINPAS (Ranchi Institute of Neuro-Psychiatry & Allied Sciences). However, soon after the exam, many students alleged that the question paper was leaked, raising concerns over integrity and fairness.

Right after the conduction of the M.Phil clinical psychology exam students raised questions on it. Students claimed that the questions asked in the Clinical Psychology paper were the same as the leaked paper, which raises questions about the credibility of the exam.

As the matter came to Psychologs Magazine, Psychologs sent an email to the relevant authorities: Ranchi University, including the Controller, Registrar, and Director of RINPAS, as well as the Vice-Chancellor. The email was intended to initiate an investigation into the issue. Subsequently, a committee was established among them with the responsibility of uncovering the truth.

The leaking of an exam can create a stressful moment among students. It can impact their overall well-being and mental health. It can cause feelings of anxiety and stress. Leaking of exam papers is not just an issue for misconduct but it challenges the overall self-worth of a student. The editor of Psychologs magazine, who provided information to the concerned authority, said, “After the vice chancellor orders to form a committee to investigate this matter, students might feel assured and confident, regaining their trust in the system.
