Name of the post: Project Associate – 1
Number of vacancies: 1
Educational qualifications:
  • MSc/P.G. Diploma/M.Phil. In clinical Psychology, it is from a recognized university.
  • Have practical experience in the assessment of patients with psychosis.
Maximum Age limit: 35 years
Duration of the contract:

The initial appointment duration for the candidate will be 6 months, but it is extendable, which is based on the performance of the candidate during the project.

Nature of work:

The work for this post includes screening and clinical assessment of patients with psychosis, event-related potential based EEG acquisition and analysis. It also involves neuroimaging acquisition and analysis.

Salary for the position:

(i) Rs. 31,000 + 24% HRA to scholars selected through National eligibility tests (CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, etc.) equivalent
OR
(ii) Rs. 25,000 + 24% HRA who do not fall under above mentioned categories in (i) as per the DST OM dated 10th July 2020.

  • Candidates who are eligible for this post can apply by the mail with the attachment of their CV, NOC from the principal investigator if they are working in projects (intramural or extramural) at NIMHANS, age proof, and the required certificate copies in single pdf document.
  • While applying, mention the notification number, date, email ID, contact number, and post address in their application, if not mentioned the application will not be reviewed.
  • Resume and checklist should be strictly attached in Annexure 1 and Annexure 2 respectively. The email address, phone number, postal address, and two referees are compulsory for this to be mentioned.

  • Academic qualification certificates, copies which are eligible for post

14 days from the date of notification announced by the NIMHANS website.
Note: applications which are received after these 14 day period will not be considered.

Selection and interview:

Candidates who are well qualified will be shortlisted on the basis of procedure announced and the interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates through email. The date of the interview will be announced to them later.
