NIMHANS announce vacancies for various posts

National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) is a government institute, which is the country’s leading centre for mental health as well as neuro sciences education. NIMHANS is situated in Bengaluru. It provides better treatment and education also. NIMHANS provide various educational courses. It runs independently under the Ministry of Health and Welfare. Recently NIMHANS announced the walk-in selection with interview for various posts. These posts are on a contractual basis.

(1.) Name of the post: Program Manager

Available vacancy: 01

Eligibility criteria:

• M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work or clinical psychology.
• Experience of 3 years at least or Masters of Social work.
• Or M.Sc in Psychology having 5 years experience of work in mental health.
• Language: kannada and tamil (speak) is prefer

Maximum age limit: 40 years

Salary: 60,000/- + 27% HRA per month

(2.) Name of the post: surveillance officer

Available vacancy: 01

Eligibility criteria:

• Masters in public health
• Also experience in data management is preferable
• Language: English and kannada (speak) is prefer

Maximum Age Limit: 40 years

Salary: 50,000/- + 27% HRA per month

(3.) Name of the post: Program coordinator

Available vacancy: 01

Eligibility criteria:

• M.Phil in psychiatric social work/psychology OR
• Masters of social work, M.Sc psychology (with experience of 2 years in mental health)
• Language: kannada, Hindi and english are mandatory with fluency.
• Research experience in suicide prevention also preferable.

Maximum Age Limit: 40 years

Salary: 40,000/- + 27% HRA per month

(4.) Name of the post: Field officer

Available vacancy: 01

Eligibility criteria:

• Masters in social work/ M.Sc psychology
• Also experience in data management is preferable
• Language: fluency in Kannada (speak) is mandatory

Maximum Age Limit: 40 years

Salary: 30,000/- + (consolidated)

(5.) Name of the post: project assistant

Eligibility criteria:

• Undergraduate degree in any field.

• CV, NOC from the principal investigator if they are working in projects (intramural or extramural) at NIMHANS
• Proof of age original (copy also)
• Academic qualification certificates, original & copies which are eligible for the post candidate is applying
