Mamaearth co-founder Ghazal Alagh, shared her story about how she balances multiple responsibilities including leading seven brands, raising two children, and overseeing a team of over 1300 employees. She revealed the three essential strategies she follows to prioritize her mental well-being and find inner peace amidst her busy schedule.

Ghazal Alagh is an entrepreneur and the co-founder of Mamaearth. Mamaearth is a natural and eco-friendly brand offering a wide range of beauty products, and baby products that are eco-friendly, cruelty-free, and plastic-positive. They prioritize natural ingredients, safety, and sustainability. Ghazal Alagh also served as one of the judges in the first season of the popular reality TV show ‘Shark Tank India. On June 26th a post on X ( previously known as Twitter) her post went viral where she said, “Managing 7 brands, 2 kids, 1300+ employees, and more brings with it a whole set of challenges that may cause stress and anxiety.”

She also opened up about how she deals with all of these stress and anxiety. Firstly, she maintains a healthy digital balance by keeping her mornings two-hour phone-free after waking up and spending a phone-free hour before bed. She also takes a five-hour digital detox every Sunday. On the second point she added, she intentionally allows herself to feel bored for 30-60 minutes daily to spark creative thinking, which benefits her business. Lastly, She doesn’t let others’ opinions or social media negativity affect her beyond a point, taking action if needed and then moving on.

Her story and practical strategies offer a valuable lesson for anyone struggling to balance multiple responsibilities while prioritizing mental well-being. By maintaining a healthy digital balance, embracing boredom to fuel creativity, and not letting negativity weigh her down, Ghazal shows us that achieving inner peace and success is possible, even in the midst of chaos.
