Utsaah Psychological Services is organizing a workshop on Brain-Based Intelligence Test which will be facilitated by Professor J. P Das.

Dr J. P Das is an Indo-Canadian Educational Psychologist. He is an internationally recognized expert in educational psychology, intelligence and childhood development. Dr Das was the Director of the JP Das Developmental Disabilities Centre at the University of Alberta. He is also a fellow member of the Royal Society of Canada,(1999) & was inducted into the order of Canada (2015) for his original contribution to the field of intelligence.

BBIT is India's test in which data is being collected and researched by the facility of various Universities, specifically by individuals with clinical psychology backgrounds. Brain-based Intelligence Test will be launched in Utsaah Psychological Services Pvt. Ltd. on 8th February 2020.

Brain-based study of Intelligence is a biological approach that includes the experience and the cultural environment in which an individual must function. It provides an explanation of the neurological and cognitive determinants of intelligent behaviour. It has direct applications in Neuro- Psychology & Education. A unique feature of BBIT is that it guides the construction of programs for the enhancement of cognitive processes that form the foundation of academic learning such as reading and maths. BBIT opens up a wide area of specific intellectual competence and cognitive pathology.

  • Inhibition among children with ADHD.

  • Child's understanding of the number line.
  • Computational skills and memory for numbers.

ELIGIBILITY:

The practitioners or those professionals who wish to bring an effective and sustainable change in the life of children with learning difficulties.

Clinical Psychologist, Special Educator, Rehabilitation Psychologist, Psychological Counsellor.
