CUET-PG Psychology notifications are out

National Testing Agency has been mandated by the Ministry of Education and UGC to conduct CUET for admission in Post Graduate program in Central university/State University/Autonomous college/Organization/ Institute. CUET (PG) will provide a single window opportunity to students seeking admission in masters. CUET PG Psychology, notifications are out. For students, it’s also very important to remember important information about exams.

Important dates and details of the CUET PG psychology exams:

• Online submission of the application form through the website will be done from December 26 to January 24, 2024, up to 11:50 p.m.
• The last day for a successful transaction of fees is January 25, up to 11:50 p.m.
• The last day for corrections in particular to the application form is January 27, 2024, to January 29, 2024, up to 11:50 p.m.
• Admit cards can be downloaded from the NTA website starting March 7, 2024. Date of examination will be between 11 March2024 to 28 march 2024.
• The answer key will be out on April 4, 2024. The exam duration will be 1 hour, 45 minutes.

The exam will be conducted in three shifts, and the timing of the examination will be announced soon on the website.

What is CUET PG?

CUET is acronym of Common University entrance test. In past this examination was known as CUCET, Central University Common Entrance test. Since 2021, this test is conducted by NTA (National texting Agency). Before this, since 2010 to 2020, this test was administered by Central University of Rajasthan. For admission in post-graduation, Command University Entrance Test Post graduation (CUET PG) is conducted by NTA. It’s a computer based text. Purpose of this entrance exam is to enable post graduate aspirants to take admission in Post-graduation, Integrated post-graduation, Diploma and Certificate Courses in 45 Central Universities of India. Candidates can take admission in some of the state university and Deemed University as well.

Change in examination pattern:

Recently, Arvind Otta took a session to give information regarding chances in the CUET PG exam pattern.

• Previously, candidates had to answer 25 questions for general paper. From this year, in psychology, there will be no general paper.
• Candidates can use general papers as subjects.
• Instead of 100 questions, this year they have to answer only 75 questions of psychology.
• Previously time duration was 120 minutes, but from this year time duration of the examination is 105 minutes.
• Even when social psychology is not mentioned in the syllabus, candidates must not ignore this topic.
• Until last year, candidates were able to choose a maximum of 20 test paper codes in all but from this year on, candidates can choose maximum of four question paper codes.
