The college is joining hands with the Indian School of Psychology Association (InSPA) to host an International Conference on Gender Equality and Women Empowerment.
How Is This A Step Towards Progress?
Well, Women’s empowerment and gender equality are not just trendy topics; they are serious problems that affect each and every one of us. Unfortunately, discrimination, abuse, and a lack of access to chances for education, healthcare, and the economy continue to be major obstacles for women and girls around the world. Because of this, holding a conference on these subjects is not only important but very necessary!
Imagine a society in which women and men enjoy equal opportunities and are free to pursue their goals without worrying about violence or injustice. We all want to live in a world like that, right? In any case, holding a conference on gender equality and women’s empowerment is a step to make this dream a reality.
This conference gives you the chance to interact with top-tier researchers and practitioners in the field of psychology, engage in critical discussion, and exchange ideas, in addition to taking benefit of Bhagalpur Vishwavidyalaya’s active campus life. Some of the eminent speakers are Dr Supriya Pathak, Dr Jyoti Verma, and Prof D.M. Divakar. Some who are going to join us from Bangladesh and Nepal are Rawnaq Ara Parvin and Dr N Thagunna respectively. Prof U.P. Sinha is also another key speaker who will be present at this conference.
