Prof. Sandeep Kumar is PhD in Psychology with specialization in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, INDIA. He is having more than 17 years of experience in Teaching, Research, Administration, Extension, Consultancy and Training. Prof. Kumar is currently working as Professor of Psychology and Personnel Management and Industrial Relations at the Department of Psychology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi and he is a well-known Trainer and Coach in the field of Organizational Behaviour & Human Resource Development and its Management. He is founder Secretary of the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SOIOP), Varanasi, U.P., India, which is a network partner of Alliance of Organizational Psychology, USA. He is member of several professional bodies and Associations such as American Psychological Association, American Psychological Society, International Association of Applied Psychology, Asian Association of Social Psychology, National Academy of Psychology, Indian Academy of Applied Psychology, and Indian Academy of Health Psychology. He has organized symposia and workshops at various national and international platforms. He has travelled to South Africa, France, Switzerland, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Canada and Taiwan to organize symposia and paper presentations. He has published more than 36 research papers in edited books and Journals of national and international repute. He has conducted 5 sponsored projects from the funding agencies like University Grants Commission and Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi. Prof. Kumar is actively involved in training of executives working in public and private sector organizations.
