I am in my final year of completing my bachelors in the subject of Psychology from Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College, University of Delhi. In the past two years, I have done quite some work in this field in order to gain a better perspective and experience. I have worked with Dr, Rachna Khanna Singh, and gained knowledge and experience regarding psychometric assessments and counselling for various relationship issues, parenting, and other psychological parameters like anxiety, depression, and many more. I have recently interned at a centre for children with special needs, Sensitivity Early Intervention. Therein, I received great understanding of psychological disorders in children, such as ADHD, Autism, etc. Furthermore, I have also interned at Central Jail, Tihar. There I worked as a psychologist in association with the psychiatric department. There I gained immense knowledge about criminal psychology as well as severe psychological disorders such as mania, schizophrenia, OCD, etc. To add to this experience, I am also associated with Psy-Fi: For a Healthy Mind, which is an organization founded and led by a Counseling psychologist, Ms Jigyasa Tandon. This organization majorly works on educating and creating awareness among people regarding mental health and related issues.
