JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research) is inviting online applications for the post of Child Psychologist and Junior Occupational Therapist, for eligible candidates from 19 October 2023. Examination for the post will be held on 2nd December 2023, Saturday. The Skill Test and interview schedule will be announced later. Vacancy details:
1) Application for the post of Child psychologist
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Candidates must have an M.Phil. In Clinical Psychology or its equivalent from a recognized Institute or University.
- At least 2 years experience in Child Adolescent Mental Health in a recognized Institute / Hospital.
- Valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (Central Rehabilitation Register, CRR).
- Pay scale Pay of ₹56,100/- in Level-10 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC.
- Age limit Up to 35 years (*Age relaxation details can be checked on the official website)
2) Application for the post of Junior Occupational Therapist
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized University / Institute or equivalent
- Two years’ experience in the Occupational Therapy Department in a Hospital.
(OR)
- Diploma in Occupational Therapy (not less than 3 years) from a recognized Institution / Hospital.
- Three years’ experience in the Occupational Therapy Department in a Hospital.
- Pay scale Pay of ₹35,400/- in Level 6 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC.
- Age limit Up to 35 years (*Age relaxation details can be checked on the official website)
- The last date for application is on 16.11.2023 at 04:30 PM.
Exam cities for written exams:
The test centre for computer Based Test (CBT) will be preferable in Puducherry, Delhi/NCR, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Tiruchirapalli, Tirunelveli, Vellore, Bengaluru (Bangalore), Rajamahendravaram (Rajahmundry), Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, Kochi, Kozikode, Kollam & Kannur or any other places as decided by the Director, JIPMER. However, the candidates cannot claim as a matter of rights to be allotted a centre of their choice. The JIPMER will have the discretion to allot exam centres.
In case of any unforeseen circumstances, the Exam City can be cancelled at any point in time and a new Exam City can be allotted in with due intimation in the website/email.
Application fee details: For UR / EWS it is Rs.1,500 + Transaction Charges as applicable, OBC Rs.1,500 + Transaction Charges as applicable, SC/ST Rs.1,200 + Transaction Charges as applicable and PWBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) Exempted From Application Fee.
General instruction for candidates:
- The Cut-off date to determine the maximum age limit, essential qualifications & experience will be the last date for submission of the online application.
- The period of experience wherever prescribed shall be counted after obtaining the prescribed essential qualifications. Internship, training, teaching and research experience, etc. Gained in the course of acquiring an educational qualification will not be counted as experience.
- In case a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post, he/she is required to fill in the form separately in Online mode only, and separate application fees will be applicable. While applying for two different posts it’s the responsibility of the candidate to fill in the column “Have you applied for any other posts”.
- On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated. Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-receipt and online application form containing fee details. Please note that if the same cannot be generated, online transactions may not have been successful.
