In a heart-wrenching incident, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly held captive and raped by her father in Sirsoda village of Bhind, Madhya Pradesh. The victim in her statement to the police said that her father used to thrash her without any reason since her childhood as he always wanted a male child.
We cannot call a person father if he can do a heinous crime of raping a daughter. Because this will ruin the sanctity of a very valuable relation. A father raping and a mother present in the house shows that the house and their life is devoid of basic needs and moral values.
Human being tends to go toward destructive and negative side due to lack of fulfillment of needs which includes thrashing, beating, snatching from the family members specifically female members. Still raping supersedes all.
Like any rapist, he also is suffering from one common phenomenon i.e. acting on Id which is instinctual pleasure without fear of consequences. Rape is the fourth most common crime against women in India. According to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) 2013 annual report, 24923 rape cases were reported across India in 2012.Out of these 24,470 were committed by someone known to the victim (98 percent of the cases)
Moreover there is folly in our education and political system which completely fails to deal to stop this crime. Give social justice to one by hanging the culprit publically till death. We will soon see the fear factor prevailing and minimizing the crime.
